The largest, deepest, darkest, oldest, quietest motel room in the world:
Largest. 200 feet by 400 feet with 70 foot ceiling
Oldest: Caverns and walls over 65 million years
Deepest: 220 feet below the surfaces, access via elevator
Darkest: absent of any light
Quietest: the only sound is your heart beating and your breath. You are the only living thing in the caverns… The only living thing
Driest: zero humidity, nothing lives in the caverns, not a fly, not bat, nothing!

Un-explain ghost and paranormal sightings and activities have been recorded and witness by employees and guest alike. The most popular sighting is seeing a man, believed to be ghost of Walter Peck at the top and bottom of the elevator shaft, opening the doors at different times. Also of great interest, was when the Caverns were used as a burial site for the Native American Indians during winter months? The bodies have been removed, but the whispering sounds of the Indians can often be heard in the caverns when one listens according to reports. And at night in the darkness of the caverns, you do hear things that are not supposed to be heard according to reports. Overnight guess in the caverns suite have also reported seeing what appears to be shadows of Indian figures moving in a dance formation, circular on the rocks, as well as a distant chanting. Other reports have been of seeing images of the hanging of a body at the top of the caverns (A person did so 30 years ago) the list does go on.

Over the years, numerous guests have reported being awakened in the middle of the night and unable to return to sleep due to a feeling that they are being watched. In most instances, it is our male guests that report the feeling of having a hand placed over their mouth and throat, and awakening unable to breathe. After they awake, these guests say they found it very difficult to return to sleep due to an overwhelming feeling of anxiousness and a sense that someone is "keeping an eye" on them.

Once featured on the television show "Unsolved Mysteries" room 305 is by far the "most active" room in the Hotel. There are numerous reports of seeing a woman in the rocking chair near the window. Also guests and housekeeping alike report seeing the chair "move by itself"!

Williams AZ, The Canyon Motel, Rail Car #2 (standard category)

Over the past few years, an increasing amount of guests have mentioned unusual things happening in Caboose #2. They've reported strange sounds, lights going on and off for no reason, and even an old conductor walking through, swinging a lantern in the middle of the dark night. A housekeeper said she hears talking or whispering in the middle of the day when no one else is around. They all say there is some type of inexplicable synergy taking place inside Caboose #2.
